Take my life
Sometimes I wonder, what Gods plan is for me
It seems so vast to live eternally.
And on this earth where death is justified,
To have new life just cannot be denied.
I won't turn away though this love is strange.
Such grace and forgiveness and peace will never fail.
And when God moves His love will never fail,
Impossible is possible through piercing thorn and nail.
So take my life and let it be wholly wrapped in love,
The love of Calvary.
Take all my pain, my wrong and right.
Turn the empty darkness into all forgiving light.
Lord my prayer is your will should be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
So take my life and let it be
Wholly wrapped in love for all eternity
You lift me up and hold me in your arms.
You are my rock you shelter me from harm.
Death where is your sting you have lost the keys,
The King now is risen, robed in majesty.
God sent His Son to lift the curse of man.
The fate of Adams foolishness lies broken by His hands.
So take my life and let it be wholly wrapped in love,
The love of Calvary.
