I'm Only Human

Human is as human does.
Some say it's fate, some say it's love.
Some say they know what is wrong, what is right.
Some walk in darkness and some walk in light.
Some shout for peace, some shout for war.
Some say they don't care anymore.
And I don't know who speaks the truth.
I don't know I'm only human.

And it's not in the wine that we are blessed,
Not in our many sins confessed.
It's who we are and will become
That leads us to the Fathers Son.

Human is as human does.
We search the skies for God above.
We search our souls for who we are.
We search for fortune in the stars.
We search for pleasure and we search for pain
We seek a chance to start again.
And I don't know who speaks the truth.
I don't know I'm only human.

And it's not in the wine that we are blessed,
Not in our many sins confessed.
It's who we are and will become
That leads us to the Fathers Son.

And all our frailty, truth and lies
And all we hide from each other's eyes.
Will make us strong enough to stand.
To know our God's guiding hand.

And it's not in the wine that we are blessed,
Not in our many sins confessed.
It's who we are and will become
That leads us to the Fathers Son.
(repeat ad lib.)
