When the world around surrounds us
And there's nowhere left to run
When darkness becomes darker and clouds obscure the sun
When pain is reaching out to steal life's breath away
It feels there's no more good to get you through the day.
When there's no more love to give
And you're buried in despair
Maybe it seems impossible that anybody ever cares.
It's true that there is suffering! It's true that there is death!
It's true that all we hold so dear will not sustain our breath.

But I believe in love, when there's no more love to share.
